The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has pushed back the timeframe for party members to purchase and submit nomination forms ahead of its upcoming Zonal Congresses and National Convention.

In a statement issued on Tuesday via the party’s verified X account and signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party said that the sale and submission period will now run from March 12 to March 23, 2026.

The adjustment, according to the announcement, does not change the dates already set for the party’s internal events. The APC has maintained that the Zonal Congresses will take place on March 25, 2026, while the National Convention is scheduled for March 26–27, 2026 as previously planned.

Additionally, the party announced a change of venue for the South-South Zonal Congress, which will now be held in Asaba, Delta State.

The APC said it has formally informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the updated form sale dates, in compliance with legal requirements.

Party leadership urged aspirants and stakeholders to take note of the new schedule and make necessary preparations.

The changes come as part of a series of timetable adjustments in the run-up to the party’s internal elections, including earlier shifts for ward and local government congresses.
