Nigerian socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has spoken out following the recent violence in Jos, Plateau State, suggesting the attacks may have been timed to cast President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a bad light on his birthday.

In a post shared on his social media page, he expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, revealing that graphic footage of victims — including a woman and her child — had left him disturbed.

He questioned the continued cycle of violence in the country, asking when such killings would finally come to an end and why people resort to taking lives.

The nightlife entrepreneur also criticised leadership and the current security situation, pointing out what he described as growing fear among public officials. He referenced the presence of heavy security around authorities, suggesting leaders must show courage and be willing to protect citizens at all costs.

He further claimed that the timing of the attack appeared intentional, alleging it was meant to embarrass the President.

Calling for action, he urged security agencies to step up their efforts, stressing that such incidents reflect poorly on those in power.

He also offered prayers for the victims and appealed for wisdom in leadership, asking that capable individuals be appointed to help address the country’s security challenges.
