Former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has urged his supporters across Nigeria to register with his new political platform, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and also with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of future elections.

Speaking after formally receiving his ADC membership card, Kwankwaso described the occasion as a “historic day” and thanked party leaders and supporters who were present to witness the event.

He welcomed a delegation led by former Senate President David Mark, alongside members of the ADC National Working Committee, acknowledging their role in facilitating the process.

Kwankwaso noted that joining the party was a collective decision and represents a pivotal step in his political journey.

“I am thrilled to have received my membership card today,” he said, urging all supporters to register with the ADC immediately.

He emphasized that party registration alone is not enough. Supporters must also register with INEC to ensure they can exercise their right to vote in upcoming elections.

“Registering with the party is only the first step. You must also register with INEC to participate in shaping the future of our nation in the next general election,” he added.

The former Kano State governor reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing support for the ADC nationwide, signaling a new chapter in his political career.
