The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that he actively follows media coverage about himself, choosing to hear directly what his critics are saying rather than relying on reports from aides.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Wike explained that he regularly tunes in to major Nigerian television stations such as Africa Independent Television, TVC News, and Channels Television to stay informed.
He added that his routine often extends late into the night, as he sometimes revisits news broadcasts around midnight to ensure he has a complete understanding of ongoing discussions before going to bed.
According to him, keeping track of such information firsthand allows him to stay fully aware of public narratives and criticisms surrounding his activities.
