The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a shift in the timeline for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, announced the update during a press briefing at the APC national secretariat on Thursday, noting that the decision was reached after deliberations by the NWC.
Originally scheduled to end on Saturday, the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026. Likewise, the deadline for submitting completed forms and required documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Meseko explained that the adjustment was made to accommodate a nationwide public holiday on Friday and to give more party members adequate time to complete the process.
He also revealed that the screening of aspirants has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
According to him, the extension followed numerous requests from party members across different states seeking additional time to obtain and submit their forms.
