Popular Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has officially obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The actress shared photos of herself holding the forms on social media as she confirmed her intention to contest for the Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 seat in the House of Representatives.
Daramola had earlier hinted at her political ambition and has now taken formal steps toward joining the race under the ruling APC.
Foluke Daramola Speaks on Her Political Ambition
In messages shared with supporters and residents of Oshodi-Isolo, the actress promised to champion policies that would improve the welfare of workers and promote development within the constituency if elected.
She encouraged residents to remain focused, hardworking and committed to their goals despite current challenges.
Daramola also described herself as a servant of the people, expressing optimism about building a better future for the constituency.
“As your servant and aspiring representative, I pray for progress, opportunities and safety for every resident. Together, we can build a stronger Oshodi-Isolo,” she stated.

Her declaration comes as more Nigerian entertainers continue to show interest in elective positions ahead of the 2027 elections.
Celebrity socialite Cubana Chief Priest recently obtained APC nomination forms to contest for a House of Representatives seat in Imo State.
Actor Zubby Michael has also signaled interest in contesting for a federal legislative seat under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Political analysts say the growing participation of entertainers reflects the increasing influence of celebrities in Nigeria’s political landscape.
